The EuroMillions winner won a EuroMillions payout of £242,775.50! She shared her winner’s story and what it means to have a major win.

Samantha, originally from Dorset, shared that she moved to Essex earlier this year to be with her partner. They struck up a relationship before the pandemic, and frequently travelled 3.5 hours to see each other. She explained that she was so happy to have met someone lovely again after her divorce.
After waking on the morning following the EuroMillions draw on November 27, Samantha was checking her emails before work. One email from the National Lottery came up, asking her to log in to her account for further information about her EuroMillions results. She admitted it was, “the shock of her life” to discover the EuroMillions payout of nearly £250,000!
Despite the incredible EuroMillions results, Samantha had to wait until her work lunch break to confirm with officials. She explained how she rang Camelot from her car just after 10am, describing it as, “the best phone call I have ever made.” The next call was to her boyfriend, who was overjoyed to celebrate with her.
The lucky winner is hoping to take her partner on a holiday somewhere warm, when it’s safe to travel.
“It’s been a tough year but I couldn’t feel more lucky right now.”
